At Life Christian Fellowship, Life Groups, are an essential part of becoming a mature and spirit-filled follower of Christ. Life Groups are not only a great place to study the Bible, they provide opportunity to encounter God in prayer and fellowship with others who are seeking God’s presence.
The early New Testament church understood the importance of sharing their lives, meeting together regularly and encouraging one another in spiritual growth. Through the relationships that are built during times of prayer, fellowship and study, we can experience spiritual transformation.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Acts 2: 42-47
Joining a Life Group is one of the best ways to establish intentional relationships, a key to spiritual growth. It's where the church's idea of community and family has an opportunity to be lived out.
We want everyone to be able to attend a Life Group, and groups to which parents can bring children will be specified. In some cases, members of these groups contribute together to hire a babysitter who will watch the children in another room during the meeting time.
The following are Life Groups that meet throughout the year:
A prayer-based group that meets in the church.
