Jesus said, "...children are the kingdom’s pride and joy.” (Luke 18:16 MSG)

We believe kids matter. They matter a lot.

So because kids matter, we want to make their church experience engaging, relevant and memorable.

All of our Life Kids’ classes use the Orange curriculum. This curriculum is focused on the idea that red (the love of the family) + yellow (the light of the church) = orange.  We believe that “two combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences”.  So, we will be connecting not only with kids, but with parents to make sure they have the resources and tools to follow up with what the kids have learned on Sundays.

Each of our classrooms have trained teachers and assistants who love God and love kids. They are ready and prepared each week to teach them and love them!

Our LIFE Kids classes take place at both the 9am and 11am Sunday Celebration.

except 5/6 RISE which is only during the 9am service.

nursery (3mo - 3yrs)

Little ones will play, sing songs, have a snack, hear a basic Bible story, and be exposed to the 3 basic truths of the Orange First Look curriculum:

  • God made me
  • God loves me
  • Jesus wants to be my forever friend

(Please be sure to pack some diapers, a change of clothes, and a bottle/sippy cup for your child for this class.)

pre-school (3-5 years)

Preschoolers will play, sing songs, have a snack, and complete activities and crafts that go along with a weekly bible story. They will also learn a monthly Bible verse that goes along with the monthly theme. Preschoolers also use the Orange First Look curriculum which teaches the 3 basic truths:

  • God made me
  • God loves me
  • Jesus wants to be my forever friend

(Children must be potty trained.)

kids powerzone (K-4th)

Elementary age children start their Sunday with a game, worship and Bible story based on the Monthly “Life App”. Afterwards, they break into age appropriate small groups to practice their monthly Bible verse and play exciting and engaging games. They’ll talk more in depth about how they can practically apply the concepts they’ve learned in large group.

Kids’ PowerZone uses the Orange Curriculum 252 Basics, which teaches 3 basics truths:

  • I need to make the wise choice
  • I can trust God no matter what
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated

POWERZONE is now during the 9AM and 11AM services.

5/6 RISE

5th and 6th graders will use the preteen component of our Orange curriculum, 252 basics.  While they will continue to have a monthy Life App and Bible verse, we’ll be focusing on age appropriate topics and concepts as well. After our Large Group Bible lesson and worship time, we’ll break out into male and female small groups to discuss what they’ve learned at a deeper level.

Our 5th and 6th graders also have monthly large group gatherings outside of Sunday mornings, usually on the 4th weekend of the month.

5/6 Rise is during the 9am service only.

boys and girls missionary challenge

BGMC is the AG missions program for kids that instills a heart of compassion to reach the lost through praying, giving, and going. All funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world such as feeding programs, water wells, Bible schools, curriculum, and whatever else a missionary needs in their part of the world.

Each month the Powerzone class interrupts the main church service for a "shake-down", collecting change (and bills) to give to the BGMC cause.  The children learn about what missionaries are doing around the world, and how they can directly contribute to spreading the gospel.
