youth night

Thursday nights are Youth Night @ LCF, from 7-9pm at the church.  Full of fun, food, fellowship, and awesome time in the Word, for 7th-12th graders.

grounded for life

On Sundays, for kids in 7th & 8th grade, during the 9am service, there is Grounded for Life!  They join the main church service for worship, but during the transition to the sermon, they leave to meet in the Life House for the "Grounded for Life" group.   It's a fun and relevant learning environment to encourage youth in their faith journey. They will learn how to discover who God is and who we are in Him, establish a deep rooted bible foundation in their lives and build community and personal character within and beyond the group.

speed the light

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the "essential transportation and creative communication" equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio, and digital equipment, our missionaries can help make Jesus known.

Speed the Light is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world.

LIFE Student Ministries hold various fund-raising activities in order to provide funds to Speed-The-Light, including car washes, pancake breakfasts, and coin cans.

The youth can make a difference, and at Life Christian Fellowship, we are equipping them to do just that.

souper bowl of caring

Originally started by a church youth group in 1990, Souper Bowl of Caring is now a global event that collects money and food for local families in need.

On the two Saturdays prior to Super Bowl Sunday, our youth group leads the church, and collaborates with other churches in Springfield to take up a collection for people in need. They give 100% of their donation directly to the local hunger-relief charity of their choice.

This is an all-church event, serving together, building connections in the church, and community.
